Anders Ringgaard A photo of Anders Ringgaard Andersen

(Trombone & Accordion, Denmark)

Trombone player Anders Ringgaard graduated from folk music programme at the Conservatory in Odense in 2005. For some years he led the folk big band Fionia, and has been one of the founding members of Habadekuk, where they’re still using many of his arrangements.

Anders plays in, among others, Trio Tinus, Basco and other known bands.

Julie Heebøll is a trained music teacher, experienced folk music educator and a recognized clarinetist. She works as a director and teacher at the Skanderborg Music School.

Julie has also been one of the driving forces behind creation of the folk music programme at the The Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in Southern Denmark (the Conservatory in Odense), and was one of the core activists behind the creation of ROD in 1996. She is known from the band Ostinatexpressen.

David Boulanger A photo of David Boulanger

(Violin, Canada)

Violinist David Boulanger is known among others from La Bottine Souriante, who are pioneers in the French-Canadian traditional music. Their loving modernisation of the genre has contributed to its continued life. Appart from the Québécois music style, he has studied jazz violin, composition and arrangement in Montreal. The Canadian ukulele virtuoso James Hill, can look back on a career in which each of his 5 albums have been milestones for the ukulele. These works showed his technical prowess and musical understanding in classical, jazz and folk music in a most compelling and innovative way.

On his recent albums “True Love Don’t Weep” and “A Man With A Love Song” together with Anne Davison he takes the folk singer-songwriter genre with a storm. Read more and listen to some of his tunes on his website.

(Cello, Canada)

Anne Davison is a classically trained cellist and experienced teacher. She has, during her career, performed with several chamber orchestras and several bands and artists. Besides being a lively performer, where she often makes use of dance and choreography, Anne is also an avid composer. She has toured with James Hill all over the world since 2005.
