ROD is a yearly folk music camp for youths aged between 15 and 25 years old, who love to play music, dance, jam and party. And it’s happening from 1. april to 7. april 2023 at Bymarkskolen, Søndre Ringvej 9, 9500 Hobro!

What is ROD?
ROD is an annual folk music camp for youths aged between 15 and 25 years old, who love to play music, dance, jam and party. During the camp we will play together in groups of 10-12 people, as well as all the participants together in one grand orchestra. During group play, the groups decide for themselves what they want to play, while during grand play, professional instructors will conduct, teaching us their own compositions or arrangements. The camp culminates in a public concert, where we present the fruits of our practice with the groups and the orchestra. During the camp, there will be plenty of time for workshops, concerts, jam and party <3

How about it?
The ticket price is 1200 DKK, which covers board and lodging during the entire camp, instruction and concerts, as well as membership in the organisation.
The camp is organised at a voluntary basis by the board of the organisation, also known as ‘arbejdsgruppen’. This year, we have received funding from Statens Kunstfond, Koda Kultur and Wistifonden.

What’s the best way to get there?
